Research Interests:

Our long-term research interest is to characterize the molecular and metabolic requirements for effective MAIT cell responses and elucidate the environmental drivers of MAIT cell dysregulation in diseases such as obesity and cancer. Ultimately, our goal is to harness MAIT cells directed therapeutics for chronic disease.

The experimental strategies to address our research interests focus on single cell strategies to functionally & metabolically characterize MAIT cells using multi-color flow-cytometry as a platform. In addition, we use a variety of immunological tools, high-dimensional omics and metabolic profiling assays.
