Translational Immunology Laboratory
Department of Microbiology & Immunology
University of Leuven & VIB Center for Brain and Disease Research
The Translational Immunology Laboratory works on the balance between tolerance and immunity in T cells. The laboratory has projects within three major programs
- Understanding the genetic and immunological basis of patients with monogenic immune dysregulation
- Dissecting the role of regulatory T cells in the tissues during disease
- Identifying the molecular partners controlling lineage plasticity in CD4 T cells
The laboratory has strong technical expertise in clinical immunology, genetics, murine genome engineering and high-dimensional flow-cytometry.
