Research Interests:
My group interest focuses on the interaction between non-hematopoietic stromal cells and immune cells in the pathogenesis and maintenance of chronic inflammatory infiltrates in autoimmune conditions. In ongoing studies, we address the following research topics:
- The role of T cells in the imprinting of a pathogenic phenotype in human stromal cells
- The role of pathogenic stroma in the regulation of T cell plasticity in inflamed tissue
- The functional relationship between tertiary and secondary lymphoid organ in autoimmunity
The experimental strategies to address our research interests include CyTOF, multi-parameter flow-cytometry, digital imaging and mouse models.
