Research Interests:
Our long-term research interest is to understand the function of γδ T cells in health and disease. To this end, we are developing and applying tools to investigate and predict the ligands of αβ and γδ TCR. In ongoing studies, we address the following research topics:
- The role of γδ T cells in autoimmunity
- Development and regulation of IL-17-producing γδ T cells
- Systematic approaches to investigate and predict the ligands of αβ and γδ TCR
The experimental strategies to address our research interests include single cell RNA and TCR sequencing, multi-color flow-cytometry, biochemical and molecular approaches, retroviral-mediated TCR transduction into reporter cell.
